2024-25 Online Course Fees

Fees Structure

The term time course runs from September to July, plus a final ‘refresher lesson’ for Year 5 students at the end of August or start of September (depending on which exam(s) you child is preparing for).
There are 32 lessons for Year 4 students (48 hours of teaching) and 33 lessons for Year 5 students (49.5 hours of teaching).
A deposit is payable on registration and is non-refundable; this acts as the first payment for the course. The deposits are: £185 for Year 4 and £285 for Year 5.
The remainder of the online course is paid in 11 monthly instalments of £145 by Direct Debit or Debit/Credit Card. As this course takes place virtually, the government does not permit us to accept Tax-Free Childcare, Childcare Vouchers or the Childcare Grant Payment Service. This is explained in our FAQs.

If your child joins after the first lesson of the course, we will provide a personalised payment plan with your course welcome letter (you will only pay for the number of lessons remaining). If you would prefer to see this before you sign up, please ask us and we will send it to you.

All Resources Included

At the start of the course, your child will receive a Bag of Knowledge® containing their class and homework books; included in our monthly course fees. This will include selected Marie Redmond's Superbrain® resources, in addition to books that are carefully curated each year from a wide range of reputable publishers. Students are presented with their books in a Marie Redmond Tuition® rucksack, featuring an electronic thesaurus, notebook and a pencil case containing pencils, an eraser and sharpener.

Lesson Fees in 2024-25

The term-time online 11+ course starting in September 2024 (including all books and resources) is £1780 for Year 4 and £1880 for Year 5. All fees are inclusive of VAT.
A deposit is payable on registration and is non-refundable: £185 for Year 4 and £285 for Year 5. This acts as the first payment and the remainder of the fees are paid in 11 monthly instalments of £145.

Payment FAQs

What do I get for my deposit?

The deposit is your first payment towards the total cost of the online 11+ course. We deduct the deposit from the total course fee and the remaining amount is then split over 11 monthly payments of £145 (2024-25 academic year).

What happens if my child joins late?

If your child joins late, we will share a personalised payment plan with your course welcome letter. Your first payment will be adjusted and your subsequent payments will be £145 per month (2024-25 academic year). You will only pay for the number of lessons remaining in the course.

How will I pay?

The online 11+ tuition course is paid by Direct Debit or Debit/Credit Card. As the lessons take place virtually, the government does not allow us to accept Childcare Vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare for the online course (click here to find out why).

What is the notice period?

If you wish to cancel, simply let us know by email at [email protected] and stop paying. If you do not make your monthly payment, your child will not be able to attend the following month and no refunds will be given for any earlier payments. As an example, if you make your last scheduled payment in March 2025, your child can attend until the end of April 2025.

Are there any discounts?

If you have more than one child attending our courses during the same term, you are eligible for a 5% sibling discount on our term time courses. We will apply this discount to the fees for both of your children.
