The Sir John Madejski Scholarship

In 2021, Sir John Madejski, the former owner and chairman of Reading Football Club and the founder of AutoTrader, graciously lent his name to our scholarship programme. This initiative supports children facing the same early challenges that inspired his rise to an OBE for services to Reading and later a knighthood for services to the nation.

On August 26th, 2024, Marie met with Sir John to discuss the remarkable progress of our Sir John Madejski Scholarship students. During this meeting, he reaffirmed his commitment, ensuring that our scholarship students will benefit from completely free tuition for many years to come.

Scholarships are available for Year 5 students across our locations in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and London.
