I would like to say a big thank you for the course last week. As I mentioned when we booked, my son is a fairly shy boy and is not very confident with new people or in new situations. I was delighted to see him relaxed and happy after every session he did with Sarah, and he commented afterwards that it was fun as well as hard work. It is not an easy balance to achieve, so thank you for your thoughtful approach. It was a huge relief to see him being encouraged in such a friendly manner, as the last thing we wanted was to put undue pressure on him – that is why we chose your course, having had a good experience with our older son three years ago. Things that were particularly helpful about your course: strong focus on vocabulary starting before the course had even begun, structured homework, rewarding them for their effort with the points and prizes system, regular testing so we could understand where our child’s weaknesses were and lots of question practice for technique. Kirsten feels so much happier about the 11+ now that she’s done the mock exam, and sailed through the refresher course on Saturday. • Marie Redmond Tuition has been a good fit for both of our children, who attended weekly sessions through Year 5, a week’s summer course (including a mock test) and one additional mock test. Work was well structured and organised, feedback, materials and other admin. appropriate and timely. Tutors Sarah H (this year) and Anne (three years ago) provided friendly, pragmatic teaching and support and were responsive to questions asked before / after class (as were Marie and Craig via email). Mock tests helped with exam technique and timing (our son caught himself answering out of synch in the actual test, so the rehearsal experience was invaluable). • I just wondered if you could pass on a huge thank you to the ladies who administered the test at RGS in High Wycombe. My daughter Millie was quite upset and nervous when she arrived and they were so welcoming and made her feel so comfortable. This was exactly the reason we decided to do a practice test and Millie came out feeling a lot more comfortable about the whole experience and that is really down to the two ladies that we met there. • Our daughter studied with Marie Redmond from November last year and passed her 11+ exam this September. Due to Coronavirus we went for online tuitions, which was very convenient and just as good as face to face lessons. My daughter's teacher Anne was very professional, encouraging and helpful. We have had numerous books and exam materials posted to us by the staff, as well as small rewards and cards with encouraging words. During the summer we signed up for the intensive course and the mock exam, which was taught in Amersham. The whole experience was very positive. My daughter's confidence was boosted hugely and she felt very sure when she took the exam, which was the best mental state we could have wished for. She now enjoys her last year at primary school with reasonable ease because she has massively improved in maths. We can't thank M. E. T. enough for their excellent teaching, help and support. My son will be signing up in a few years time. Hopefully remote lessons will still be available as it's the best way in my opinion.

• Thank you so much for sending us Sinead's report - that was lovely to read. I have to say that despite having to study for 4 days, instead of languishing in the sun, Flynn never complained once about going in so Sinead must have been doing something right! Those study sessions and the mock exam were so helpful for us because Flynn hasn't been externally tutored so getting independent assessments of where he's at can feel like a leap in the dark. It's been an investment very well spent in our opinion, so thank you for the very well organised and set up operation. The final point about focusing until the final exam has also been useful in persuading Flynn to keep going for a few more weeks! With very many thanks

A lot of thought has gone into choosing the books and resources and structuring the course, and it enabled my son to keep a steady pace though the year without any additional stress or strain. • I just wanted to express a big Thank You for the mock exam sessions that Kimora sat for. She has found them to be useful and she felt that you and the staff were very supportive. Kimora says that the mock exam gave her a better understanding what the actual GL exam will be like. She actually said that she enjoyed doing the mocks and found it very useful! We wish we were able to book more mock sessions but unfortunately, we will be travelling away to see their grandparents (who are in their 80s), so we are not able to book the remaining mock sessions.

• Thank you, considering the support that you, alongside Craig and the tutors, have provided my son with and opportunity for him to succeed. It is very well-designed with the rewards system that motivates, well-structured and the quality of the MRT resources, especially the challenging comprehension, VR vocabulary, vocabulary daily work, flashcards, and math from the superbrain books and worksheets which really tests your ability at a higher level. His creative writing has improved immensely with the techniques, and he oftens receives commendation from school, commenting that he will become an author (which he wants to). He is enjoying creative writing a lot, thanks to Anne and her expertise. He is an enthusiast for the book club - to receive a book voted for, that comes through the door is exciting to open, followed by questions, creative projects and chances to win prizes. We only wished this continued past the 11+. You have definitely triumphed in how to engage a child in the 11+ journey.As well as this, thank you for the guidance for myself in navigating through the process. It has been most useful seeing the progress he has made, clearly as evidenced in the SuccessTracker, from assessments to mocks, anonymous comparative results. As you can see, he has has progressed from strength to strength. I am proud and thank you for this. Regardless of his successes in the 11+, he has learnt a great deal and good learning habits and techniques.
